I'm Shaun - known locally as 'the sax guy.' Welcome to my website! I'm a proud dog dad, fiancé and self employed musician from Stockport - a self proclaimed music lover.
As well as a saxophonist, I've spent years in the music, wedding and event industries in many roles: sound & lighting technician, host, DJ, and even an occasional venue dresser to complete the look.
I'm happy to muck in, and am committed each and every booking, customer and event.
"Clients come first, and the rest comes naturally."
Booking any form of entertainment can be daunting. Your entertainment is the centre of your event, and understanding the importance of it is the key to success.
Building a trusting relationship with all of my clients is so important. It's the basis to success, the key to building both a package, and an atmosphere that suits you.
Guidance and support comes as standard throughout the booking process, whether that's advice on how long it takes to walk down the aisle, or which type of microphone to use in any given situation.
Boring entertainment isn't for me. I never save or 'program' set-lists, the soundtrack to your wedding or event is totally unique, and will never be repeated.
Although lockdown proved it was possible to 'work from home', I decided it wasn't for me! I wanted a space to mix, edit, record, relax and meet with customers without relying on Zoom - a space to separate work and life!
Fast forward to April 22 and I opened the doors to a new chapter. One with a cool red drainpipe running through the middle, a 'sexy' desk, and so much room to record and create.
"Your wedding should be utterly unforgettable, deeply romantic, exquisitely beautiful and entirely you."
It’s so important that your big day is everything you have dreamed of. It’s a pleasure to be trusted with such an important occasion - and that's not taken lightly.
With a relaxed, calm and quirky approach, your booking experience will leave you stress-free and full of confidence ahead of your big day.
Sax - DJ
Bring those classic dance anthems to life, close your eyes and picture an Ibiza sunset as your dance floor is transformed.
Being skilled in both of these professions allows me to pre-mix your personal set, create a tailored lighting show, and perform live with a wireless microphone allowing me to roam around the space and get involved on the dance floor.
Whether you're celebrating your 18th or 70th birthday, the soundtrack to your party is everything.
I've been lucky to have been exposed, and to be able to appreciate so many styles and genres including Motown, Soul, Disco, RnB, Indie, Pop and Dance. Believe it or not, I've even taken on Spanish Fiesta's, Persian and Asian Celebrations and even a Venezuelan Happy Hour!
I also sprinkle some public events in my calendar where you can come and see me live, get a feel for my music, and even buy me a drink... (non-alcoholic of course)!

It's not always just a DJ required for a corporate shindig. As touched on earlier, I'm a qualified AV Technician with heaps of equipment to drive my fiancé insane.
Whether it's an address system, stage, backdrop or lighting rig you need installing for your event, I'll assemble the dream team and bring your AV ideas to life.
What People Say...
What's the best way to check availability?
That's simple: just get in touch! I refuse to take any money, or process a booking before I've had the opportunity to introduce myself and my services personally, whether that be via phone, email or even an in-person meeting. I also run our sister company, The Groove which allows you to book other DJ's and entertainers through our system.
Do you take a deposit?
Yes. For normal package bookings, a simple £50 deposit is taken, as well as a signature on our contract to let us know that you're committed to the booking as much as we are! For more complex high value bookings, a 25% deposit may be requested to secure my attendance. You will be made aware of this from the outset, and the online payment methods are really simple to use.
How far do you travel?
I'm happy to travel where ever my work takes me. Unless included in your package, a standard fuel charge is added to any booking at 55p per mile, as well as £10.80 per hour (pro-rata) for journeys longer than 1 hour.
Are you insured?
Yes! I carry all of the relevant documentation that your venue may request. This includes PAT Test Certificates, Public Liability Insurance up to the value of £2 Million, as well as Personal Professional Indemnity Insurance.
How would you define your 'style' or approach to DJ'ing?
Firstly, we're really laid back, and you'll get to learn that about me - hopefully it'll put your mind at ease. It's all about you, and I'm happy to adapt my style to suit your day and your personality. I'm not overly talkative on the microphone, and it's all about the music - nobody really cares who sang the last song or what year it came out!
Can I add things to my package at a later date?
Of course. Your initial deposit will remain valid, and secures your whole booking with me. If you choose to add any additional add-ons, I'll simply send out a new contract for you to sign with the amended information.
